Exposed: The ‘Blind Spots’ Inside Every UK Bookmaker...

Right now, bookies are being forced to pay out on bets of 12/1, 50/1, or even 100/1 at an unprecedented rate...

It’s no secret…

When it comes to sports betting, the bookies are in control.

They choose the markets. Set the odds. And they put a lot of thought into setting those odds just right so that they're guaranteed to turn a generous profit.

That puts the rest of us at a disadvantage…

You can know a sport inside out, have great intuition, a head for numbers… but you’ll always have to contend with odds that are - literally - stacked against you. Unless…

Right now, every bookmaker in the UK has ‘blind spots’ in their systems where the odds are skewed in the opposite direction

I know how that might sound…

But I’m not referring to anything shady. And it’s got nothing to do with ‘magic numbers’ or crystal balls.

Instead, the existence of these ‘blind spots’ is a statistically proven fact.

And if you know how to identify them, you can collect returns on bets of 12/1, 50/1, or even 100/1…

Just look at the comments from people already doing this:

100/1 winner landed already this season!

Tournament: ATP Indian Wells 2022

100/1 winner: Taylor Fritz

Here’s an excerpt from the advice sent to my Ones to Watch members on 10th March:

***** ***** ***** ***** ***** ***** *****

Over the next few minutes, I'll explain exactly how you can find and exploit these ‘blind spots’.

But first, let me briefly introduce myself.

My name is Tom Wilson and I'm a professional tennis analyst. (Yes, tennis. You’ll see why that’s important in a moment).

I'm also a massive tennis fan. I follow tennis every day, all week, all season.

I watch replays. I watch 4am matches from the other side of the world. I follow tournaments of all levels, from the lower-tier ITF and Challenger circuits... to the main ATP & WTA Tours and Grand Slams.

And I never just watch tennis...

I study it, monitor the formbook, and take note of who’s who…

Players with bad tempers. Players with nerves of steel. Players with big serves. Players prone to double faults. Teenagers with the look of a future champion. Veterans on the comeback from injury.

This kind of in-depth research comes with many valuable insights. But in the 15 years I’ve spent studying the sport, one thing stands out most of all…

Anyone can win in tennis. Underdogs. Outsiders. Total newcomers without a track record.

You may remember the headlines in September 2021 when 18-year-old Emma Raducanu won the US Open. At 100/1 she was a complete underdog to win. The media were shocked…

But if you follow tennis (and if you’re a numbers geek like me), you’ll know that every season, dozens of players make it into the finals after going completely under the radar. More than any sport I’ve come across, tennis offers an open field. And that doesn’t just apply to the players – it goes for the betting, too. Because…

Tennis tournaments consistently pay out huge returns at odds of 33/1, 50/1 and even 100/1+

Just look at some of the big tournament results from the 2021 season…

And these numbers are nothing special... If anything, they’re just about average.

Over the last six seasons, across the men’s ATP Tour, women’s WTA Tour, and Grand Slams combined, on average 50% of all tournament winners have paid out at odds of 10/1+...

And for Each Way payouts, the numbers rise again. With 70% of runners-up going off at pre-tournament odds of 10/1+.

Tennis tournaments produce stacks of results at BIG ODDS.

This was the case last year.

And the year before.

And the year before that.

I’ve got the numbers to prove it…

One in 10 tournaments produce a 100/1 finalist…

Over the last six seasons, over 10% of the tournaments played have produced a finalist at odds of 100/1 or bigger.

In other words, that’s an average of over one in every 10 tournaments.

In the 2020 season, 14% of the events played produced a 100/1 finalist:

  • ATP Doha – Corentin Moutet – 100/1RUNNER-UP
  • WTA Hua Hin – Leonie Kung – 100/1RUNNER-UP
  • ATP Buenos Aires – Pedro Sousa – 100/1RUNNER-UP
  • ATP Rio de Janeiro – Gianluca Mager – 100/1RUNNER-UP
  • WTA Acapulco – Leylah Fernandez – 100/1RUNNER-UP
  • ATP Western & Southern Open – Milos Raonic – 100/1RUNNER-UP
  • French Open Women’s – Iga Swiatek – 100/1WON
  • ATP Vienna – Lorenzo Sonego – 100/1RUNNER-UP

Of course, long-odds winners happen in every sport… and there’s always someone who gets lucky and picks the underdog.

But as I watched more and more tennis tournaments, I started to notice a pattern…

A significant number of these ‘underdog’ winners had prices that were much, much longer than they should be

Just take a look at this table…

These are the bookies’ prices for players of the 2020 French Open. Iga Swiatek is highlighted at a price of 100/1.

At just 19 years of age, and with no previous Senior tour trophies to her name, she was definitely an outsider.

But I was amazed at the odds on offer. Duly advising my Ones to Watch members to get Swiatek in the book for the upcoming French Open that year…

And sure enough, Swiatek blasted through the French Open field… She won all seven matches without even dropping a set. And she took out the No.1 seed and former champion, Simona Halep, along the way.

Members enjoyed collecting their winnings…

There’s nothing like the thrill of landing a massive winner, with a bet on a player that most people have never heard of…

And as you’ll see in these comments from delighted members, we were also on the French Open runner-up, Sofia Kenin, at 40/1:

Of course, you could dismiss this as an outlier… a one-off case of mispricing. But by then, I knew better.

Time and time again, I had seen a clear mismatch between the odds and a player’s genuine chance of winning.

It became clear that in certain tennis tournaments, there are ‘blind spots’ where the prices just don’t reflect reality. I knew this could be huge…

Figure out who these players are before the tournament and you can multiply your stake by 50, 100, or even 200 times without having to rely on dumb luck.

How to identify the ‘total underdogs’ that will go on to win major tennis tournaments

It’s all very well me telling you about some of the big-odds tournament winners on the tour.

Picking out those rank outsiders and underdogs BEFORE the event is something else entirely.

You could always take the throw-a-dart method, I suppose…

Blindly backing a couple of 100/1 shots before Wimbledon every year. Close your eyes, cross your fingers – and hope for the best.

But if you think that’s a good idea – then stop reading now.

Finding 33/1, 50/1 or 100/1 shots with a real chance of making it to a final is not easy.

I don’t have a crystal ball.

And I’m certainly not going to find you a winner (or an Each Way runner-up) at those odds every week. Or every month. Or at the four Grand Slams in any given year, for that matter.

But my track record, my knowledge and my experience. Over a decade of researching and writing about tennis every week. My 15 years of studying the betting markets every day. And watching hundreds of players and thousands of hours of matches…

Well, that all adds up to make me someone that you might find useful to listen to when it comes to betting on the 2022 tennis season…

“You clearly know the sport inside out”…

Whether that’s naming 50/1 Australian Open women’s winner Sofia Kenin... and 22/1 men’s runner-up Dominic Thiem...

Our Wimbledon winner Marion Bartoli as a 100/1 outside chance right back in 2013… AND runner-up Sabine Lisicki at 80/1 Each Way.

Or grabbing an early-bird 50/1 on finalist Eugenie Bouchard the very next year….

And 50/1 Wimbledon runner-up Kevin Anderson in 2018.

To 100/1 French Open champion Jelena Ostapenko AND 40/1 US Open winner Sloane Stephens in 2017…

Or 40/1 French Open finalist Marketa Vondrousova in 2019…

Marin Cilic as a 28/1 runner-up at Wimbledon 2017, and then as a 33/1 finalist at the Australian Open 2018.

33/1 US Open runner-up Karolina Pliskova in 2016…

And listing 100/1 US Open finalist Daniil Medvedev as One to Watch in 2019.

Or, in July 2020, when the tennis returned after the coronavirus-enforced shutdown. Naming BOTH finalists in the very first tournament back, at WTA Palermo…

Then of course, the big one. With 100/1 Iga Swiatek landing the French Open 2020. And 40/1 Sofia Kenin also reaching the final, to guarantee a big payout for Ones to Watch followers…

And last season, a collection of double-figure payouts on the ATP & WTA Tours. Including:

WTA Luxembourg:

Clara Tauson @ 16/1 – WON

WTA Gippsland Trophy:

Elise Mertens @ 16/1 – WON

ATP Newport:

Jenson Brooksby @ 22/1 – EACH WAY PAYOUT (runner-up)

ATP Miami:

Jannik Sinner @ 33/1 – EACH WAY PAYOUT (runner-up)

March/ April, WTA Miami:

Bianca Andreescu @ 25/1 – EACH WAY PAYOUT (runner-up)

March, ATP Doha:

Roberto Bautista-Agut @ 20/1 – EACH WAY PAYOUT (runner-up)

WTA Phillip Island Trophy:

Marie Bouzkova @ 33/1 – EACH WAY PAYOUT (runner-up)

It’s fair to say I’m always looking for ‘surprises’ in the big tournaments…

My Ones to Watch player lists, picks and advice alert members to the stars of the future, early-doors.

My annual pre-season reports flagged up both Naomi Osaka and Ashleigh Barty as teenagers.

Both have since gone on to reach World No.1. With Osaka lifting the US Open at 50/1 and the Australian Open at 14/1. And Barty winning the French Open at 22/1.

At the start of summer 2017, Sloane Stephens was returning from injury and ranked No.957 in the world. By September, she’d won the US Open as a 40/1 outsider.

In my pre-season report for 2020, Sofia Kenin was named as One to Watch, along with Iga Swiatek. Kenin won the Australian Open at 50/1, and finished runner-up at the French Open. And as we’ve established, Swiatek was a massive 100/1 winner in Paris.

And in those examples above, the likes of Bartoli, Lisicki, Bouchard, Ostapenko, Stephens, Vondrousova, Pliskova, Medvedev, Kenin, and Swiatek all made their DEBUTS in Grand Slam finals in the year that they were featured in my Ones to Watch service.

My followers have made some considerable sums of money by backing these picks…

And being a Ones to Watch member can vastly increase your own knowledge and enjoyment of both tennis and of betting...

YOU can exploit these massive tennis prices in 2022...

Tennis is about much more than just the four big Grand Slam tournaments...

My Ones to Watch service runs throughout every week of the season.

We go after the attractive Each Way prices on the ATP and WTA Tours.

Last season we had Outright Winner picks reach finals at odds of 7/1, 16/1, 20/1, 22/1, 25/1, 33/1... not to mention semi-finalists at 50/1, 66/1, 100/1, and 200/1...

In 2020 we got players into finals at odds of 10/1, 12/1, 16/1, 22/1, 25/1, 40/1, 50/1 and 100/1.

In 2019 we had players in finals at odds of 14/1, 16/1, 18/1, 20/1, 25/1, 28/1, 30/1 and 40/1.

And remember, bookies pay standard Each Way terms of 1/2 the odds for reaching a final. So even a ‘losing’ bet in a final can deliver a return at place odds of 8/1, 20/1 or 50/1...
