This was the headline from an article I wrote for Simply Prizes a while ago, talking about a lady called Christine Williams, but far from being a one-off, there are loads and loads of news articles talking about how much ordinary people have won from free competitions.
In August 2020 the Daily Mail told how Jolene Stanley, a pub cleaner from Essex has bagged a whopping £70,000 worth of freebies by entering online competitions.
They also reported on Victoria Measures, saying - Woman wins £30,000 of prizes by spending just two hours a week entering online competitions while she watches TV.
